SPINE Desk: Manage Your Profile from Your Computer

Anyone working as a therapist, coach, mentor, or holistic practitioner knows the effort: writing the profile, setting up events, integrating a podcast, editing descriptions — doing all of this on a phone is often tedious.

This is especially true for providers who regularly plan workshops, retreats, or masterclasses, write longer descriptive texts, or upload multiple images. A larger screen is simply more practical.

That's what SPINE Desk was built for.

What SPINE Desk is

SPINE Desk is the web-based companion to the SPINE app. Accessible via browser on computer, laptop, or tablet. No separate app installation needed.

The most important thing upfront: SPINE Desk is not a standalone product. The main platform remains the SPINE app. Desk is the add-on that complements the app — so providers can handle certain tasks more comfortably on a computer than on a phone.

Both worlds are connected. What's maintained in Desk appears in the app. What's set up in the app can be edited on the desktop.

What SPINE Desk is particularly useful for

Certain tasks are simply more comfortable on a computer than on a smartphone:

Writing and editing longer profile descriptions

Uploading and managing multiple images at once

Creating more complex events with detailed programs

Connecting and managing podcast feeds

Maintaining text content in multiple languages

Uploading verification documents

Answering booking inquiries at the computer when you're already working on your laptop

For all these activities, a screen with a keyboard is simply the more appropriate tool.

What can be maintained in Desk

The public profile — professional background, methods, languages, location, personal description, images.

Events — workshops, retreats, masterclasses, online courses with all the details like date, format, duration, language, price, program.

Podcasts — connection via RSS feed or directly, so episodes appear in the profile and in the app's thematic search results.

Verification — identity and qualifications can be verified. Verified profiles are marked accordingly in the app.

Booking inquiries — incoming inquiries from the app can be answered on the desktop when you're already at your computer.

Subscriptions — overview of visibility options, transparently displayed.

What SPINE Desk deliberately is not

SPINE Desk is not meant to replace or cannibalize the app. Anyone who wants all features on one device uses the SPINE app — it is and remains the main platform.

SPINE Desk is also not a separate analytics tool or dashboard with performance tracking. The function is clearly defined: maintaining content and profiles comfortably on a computer.

Anyone who doesn't manage longer texts or multiple events per month gets along completely with the app alone.

Why this companion exists

During the development of the platform, it quickly became clear: certain tasks are simply unpleasant on a smartphone. Typing a 600-character profile description on a phone, entering five workshop dates with programs, or curating a list of methods — all of this is faster and less error-prone on a computer.

Instead of forcing these tasks into the app, SPINE Desk was built as a complementary browser access. Providers decide for themselves when to use what.

How access works

Providers who already have a profile in the SPINE app can log in at web.spine.app with the same credentials. No second profile is created, no separate data.

Anyone who doesn't yet have a profile can set it up either in the app or directly in Desk. What gets edited where is a matter of preference.

Who benefits most from it

Therapists who maintain detailed profile descriptions

Coaches who regularly hold workshops or online courses

Hosts of retreats with complex programs

Podcast hosts who connect multiple episodes per month

Providers with multilingual profiles (EN, DE, ES)

Professionals who spend a lot of time on a computer anyway

For occasional providers with short profiles and few events, the app alone is often enough.
