Introduction: My personal journey to Spine

Sometimes life writes stories that are hard to believe. Stories that tear us out of our comfort zone and force us to see the world with new eyes.

For me, such a story began with my father, a man who worked tirelessly for his family even in the GDR era. He wanted to keep the gap between East and West, the differences that were noticeable to us children, as small as possible. Everything he could make possible, he made possible - and beyond.

But every effort has its price. If you demand so much from your body, you have to give it breaks. My father didn't allow himself these breaks. The years of overwork took their toll: little by little, the consequences became apparent in the form of physical ailments. And then came the diagnosis that changed everything: gout. A disease that was not only painful, but was classified by conventional medicine - at least at the time - as incurable.

It broke my heart to see my father suffering like that. This man, who had given so much for us, should now "pay" for the rest of his life with pain? That can't be right.

But that was not all: When I asked my father what the doctors were doing to find the cause of the disease, he simply replied: "They are not even looking for that."

What? That's not what they're looking for?

I couldn't believe it. Every illness has a cause. And surely this cause must be treated?... It must be discovered - be it through genetic analysis, food intolerances, the investigation of external circumstances or simply a general search for imbalances in the body. But this perspective did not seem to resonate with either the doctors or those around me. Gout is gout. It has to be accepted and there was apparently nothing more to be said about it.

But I couldn't accept it. Why did people accept such statements? Why didn't they question things, why didn't they do more research? And why were doctors even able to make such definitive diagnoses as "This is incurable" or even "You only have XY time left to live" as if healing were a purely mechanical matter?

#### Looking for a different perspective

My mind could not accept this way of thinking. So I started looking for a solution. First I asked my close family and friends. Then I searched the internet for months. And finally I came across an institution in Thailand that offered alternative healing approaches for various diseases, such as gout, but also cancer and many other diseases. Their philosophy immediately appealed to me: They looked for the causes, treated the whole person and worked with methods that were supposed to support the body in a natural way so that its own immune system was activated again so that its self-healing powers could initiate recovery.

I contacted the healers and a few weeks later I booked a flight for my father and me to see what was possible.

#### The trip to Thailand: A new beginning

Our journey took us to Pathaya, to a facility called "Bios Logos". Even the first conversation with the healers was an eye-opener. They explained to my father what the numerous medications he took every day were actually doing to his body - and how they were causing more harm than good in the long term. Step by step they showed us how chemicals can upset the balance in the body. It was as if we suddenly had a whole new perspective on medicine and healing.

In the days that followed, my father began an intensive healing program. It was exhausting, demanding - and yet transformative. And despite his exhaustion, he beamed. For the first time in years, I saw him smile, not just with his face, but with his soul.

#### An unexpected healing

After 14 days, the change was unmistakable. Not only had his energy and smile returned - the gout had disappeared. Yes, really disappeared. A disease that was considered incurable was suddenly no longer an issue. His body had recovered, regenerated, and rebalanced. It was almost as if I had witnessed a miracle.

#### What I learned

This experience not only healed my father, but also changed my view of the entire world of medicine and healing. It showed me that healing is possible, even and especially when conventional medicine no longer has any answers. It opened my eyes to the power of alternative approaches that look at people holistically in a system that consists of body, soul and spirit.

But above all, it gave me hope: hope that there is a way for each of us to find healing, to find a way back to a balance between these three components. We just have to be willing to look for it - even if that means leaving familiar paths.

#### The result: Spine - your bridge to holistic health, holistic healing methods, spirituality and consciousness

My father's story is not only a story of healing, it is the beginning of Spine, a social media network dedicated to everything related to health, holistic healing methods, the many forms of spirituality and the broad field of consciousness training

It takes courage, hope and the willingness to think outside the box and take some unusual paths. And often these new paths are rewarded not only with profound health, but also with a large community of like-minded people.

Thank you for joining us.
